As the trend of drug and alcohol consumption is increasing
day by day, more and more people are getting addicted to these substances. It
is not affecting the physical and mental health of a person but also
influencing the society badly. Even the students in schools and colleges are using
these substances. Consumption of drugs and alcohol at workplaces and education
institutions affects the work culture and environment in a negative way.
Government has no doubt implemented various laws and rules
in order to put a control on this. In addition to this, various organizations
are conducting various programs for drug testing and alcohol testing at public
places. Employers are also administrating drug or alcohol testing by using
different types of testing methods. Several methods such as oral or breath test,
hair analysis and urine analysis are used to detect the presence of substances
like cocaine, alcohol and more.
Oral and Breath Test is one of the most common methods. It
is very fast as results are produced within a very short duration. It is
believed that oral testing offers 98% of accuracy in its results. In addition,
this method is very much cheap and convenient to use at offices and other
public places. For this reason, most of
the companies prefer to use onsite oral drug testing.
Hair analysis method is used to recognize the
long term abusers effectively. Urine
testing, sweat testing are also used to identify the drug or alcohol abuser.All these methods are used widely all around the world to
keep a strict check on the prevailing culture of drug or alcohol addiction. We
all need to come forward and join our hands in order to abolish this bad evil
from our society to ensure healthy and safe living.
